Description

Buy Ready-Made Load Monitoring Device Project for B.Tech Students

Are you looking for a final year Electrical Engineering project that is practical, innovative, and guaranteed to impress?
This Load Monitoring Device is the perfect choice for your B.Tech final year project.

Why This Project?

  • 💡 Unique Idea – Not just a simple circuit, but a real system that prevents electrical overload.
  • ⚡ Practical Use – Can be used in homes, labs, or small offices to control power safely.
  • 🖥️ Microcontroller Based – Built using Arduino Nano, easy to understand and explain.
  • 📚 Student Friendly – Simple to demonstrate in front of teachers and examiners.
  • 🔧 Fully Tested – Project already assembled and tested with different loads.

Components Used

  • Arduino Nano (main controller)
  • Current Sensor (CT103, 5A rating)
  • Small Transformer (for AC voltage measurement)
  • Relays (to switch loads on/off)
  • 4×4 Keypad
  • LCD Display with I²C module
  • RTC Module
  • Other small parts (resistors, transistors, rectifier, wires, etc.)

How It Works ⚙️

Setting the Limit:

  • The user enters the maximum power value for each output line using the 4×4 keypad.
  • For example, you can set Line 1 = 100W, Line 2 = 80W, Line 3 = 120W.

Monitoring the Load:

  • A current sensor (CT103) measures the current.
  • A small transformer measures the AC voltage.
  • The Arduino Nano calculates the real-time power (Voltage × Current).

Comparison:

  • The Arduino continuously checks if the load on any line has crossed the preset limit.

Automatic Cut-off:

  • If the load goes above the set value, the Arduino sends a signal to the relay.
  • The relay disconnects that line instantly, protecting the system from overload.

Display & Storage:

  • The LCD screen shows the voltage, current, and power of each line.
  • The EEPROM memory saves preset values, so they are not lost if power goes off.
  • The RTC (Real-Time Clock) module records the exact time when an overload happens.

Why Students Love This Project

  • Easy to explain and demonstrate in labs or classrooms.
  • Covers important topics like power monitoring, sensors, and microcontrollers.
  • Looks professional with LCD display, keypad, and relays.
  • Can be upgraded with IoT for extra marks.

Applications

  • Preventing overload in hostels, labs, and classrooms.
  • Energy monitoring for small buildings.
  • Learning tool for embedded systems and power electronics.
